Dear Artists,
Welcome 🙂
Here are some basic guidelines for the Featured Artist Page.
Who can be featured on SongFlag.com?
To be featured on SongFlag you need 2 things:
- You need to fill in SongFlag’s Songwriters Questionnaire.
- You must have (at least) one complete recorded song.
Do you feature songs that were not professionally recorded?
Yes, I definitely feature songs that were recorded at home.
The quality of the recording does not have to be professional.
What genres do you accept? Do I have to be well known?
I know how challenging the music industry can be.
I know how annoying it is to send an email to a blog/website and not get a response.
My aim is to help all of the artists from all genres.
You don’t have to be famous to be featured.
I don’t care where you’re from.
I love all countries and cities in the world!
I don’t care how old you are.
I don’t care how you look like.
Music is for everyone, everywhere at any stage of life!
I don’t care if you have a musical background or don’t.
Some of the greatest musicians didn’t.
Some of the greatest musicians did.
I want to help you grow.
What will be featured?
Whatever you want.
I can feature your bio and links to your single/album.
Will my music be reviewed?
No. A featured artist post isn’t a music review or an interview. It’s purpose is to show you and your music as you’d want it to be seen.
Can I send you video links?
Yes, of course.
You can send YouTube videos or any other videos you’d like.
Can I send you links to Spotify, Bandcamp and ReverberNation?
Yes, of course.
How long will my music and info be featured?
It will be featured for 5 days on SongFlag’s homepage.
It will be featured forever on SongFlag’s Featured Artists Page.
Do I need to send you anything in order to be featured?
Yes. I will need 4 things:
- Your Bio (at least 300 words).
- Your answers to SongFlag’s Songwriter’s Questionnaire
- 2-3 photos that you’d like me to feature.
- Links to your official website/social media accounts.
Do my songs need to be in English in order to be featured?
No.
Your songs can be in any language.
Does it cost anything?
Yes, it costs $19 (US dollars) and that’s it, nothing else.
Why do you charge $19?
The $19 helps me cover the costs of running this site.
In addition, writing the post, editing it and posting it on social media sites takes me time.
What if my music has already been featured on SongFlag and I want to be featured again?
If you have already been featured on SongFlag and would like to feature again then the cost is $10 per item.
How do I pay?
Before you pay, send me an email to eldad@songflag.com.
Tell me a little bit about your self and your music.
Later on you can send $19 (US dollars) to the link bellow and I will feature your music and info:
Send $19 to this address:
Truly Yours,
Do you have any more questions?
